DISCOVER & WONDER

Our mission

Curiosity has no age limit.

Discover & Wonder creates opportunities for people of all ages to follow their curiosity.

We design hands-on experiences, connect people with interesting places and people, and help turn everyday questions into opportunities for discovery.

Whether it's something you've always wanted to try, a question you can't stop thinking about, or an interest you haven't discovered yet, we're here to help you explore.

You don't need to know where you're going. Just bring your curiosity.

01

We Create

Experiences designed and organized by Discover & Wonder: hands-on workshops, unusual field trips, experiments, challenges, and chances to explore something completely unfamiliar.

02

We Connect

We introduce curious people to experts, organizations, places and experiences that already exist. Sometimes the opportunity is already out there. People just don't know about it.

03

We Explore

We help people follow their questions. A question might lead to an experiment, an expert, a visit, or an entirely new interest.

Our story

What if learning started with a question?

Most educational experiences begin with something someone has decided you should learn.

Discover & Wonder starts somewhere else.

What are you curious about? What have you always wanted to try? What would you explore if someone opened the door?

We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when people are free to pursue their own questions. Sometimes that means building something. Sometimes it means meeting an expert, visiting an unfamiliar place, or discovering something entirely unexpected.

Founded in Colorado, Discover & Wonder is a nonprofit organization exploring new ways to connect people with ideas, experiences, and opportunities for discovery.

We aren't interested in defining what people should be curious about. We want to help them find out.

Meet the founder

Rebecca Stetson

Founder, Discover & Wonder

I've spent much of my career bringing ideas to life, creating experiences, connecting people, and finding ways to make complicated things accessible.

My background in media production, educational programs, and community organizations has reinforced something I believe deeply: people are naturally curious, but we don't always create opportunities for them to explore that curiosity.

Too often, learning is organized around what someone else thinks we need to know.

I founded Discover & Wonder to approach things differently. I wanted to create opportunities for people to pursue questions, experiment with unfamiliar ideas, and encounter experiences they might never have considered.

Not everything needs to become a skill, a career, or an accomplishment. Sometimes discovering something interesting is enough.

And sometimes, one unexpected experience changes everything.
